What is your technique for remembering patterns?

I always copy mine down and keep it in my pocket and look over it until I get in the ring. The thing that hepls me most for every pattern class is to actually walk through it in my head and on the ground (much smaller scale, maybe like a few feet). If you envision every part of the pattern and how you will execute it, it usually goes that way in the ring if you take your time and focus.
